Voicemeter Aux virtual input. Select Voicemeter input Aux on the little speaker icon in the Windows tray. Best of luck and let us know. Brad Phillips. I have everything set up as per instruction. I have the youtube backing tracks playing. Input Level is registering and so is the output level in Amplitube, however; no sound from speakers. In your instructions you say "Select Voicemeter input Aux on the little speaker icon in the Windows tray.

What should my default devices be set to sir? Thank you again for helping this has become a headache for me. Finally, if a manufacturer does not state their device is class compliant but does not provide the device driver I'm leery. There is nothing wrong with inexpensive or cheap but it likely is not the best way forward if you're thinking of purchasing a product for long term use and being cheap excludes consumer support.

I have one of the low end Behringer interfaces which uses Asio4all, and I have to say I've had no issues with it. Latency is extremely low even with a relatively humble CPU and the sound quality is good.

Yes, I know a interface with a dedicated ASIO driver would have been better, but it was what I could afford at the time and I've had exceptional value from it. As if it does, I may well have to give that a try and see how it stacks up. It's already installed with Windows, so all you have to do is click that driver mode in your DAW audio preferences to give it a try. I often use it if I want to run a secondary audio app alongside my main DAW.

You need to set the driver mode to ASIO first:. Posted June 26, edited. Check that there is only one ASIO driver installed on that machine. That may not be your problem, but it is one possibility.

Like, if you avoid trying to play youtube and Maschine at the same time, you will be fine. If you want simultaneous playback, get yourself a little behringer mixer and run the interface and you're built-in soundcard to it.

I use this one in my vocal booth. DJ Hellfire , Jul 5, Thanks to a great friend I have a fix. I plug in my headphones to use maschine. My PC speakers, for YouTube etc, are basic ones and are now plugging into my gaming keyboard Logitech G which has a tiny inbuilt sound card in it. So speakers usb and 3. It all works perfectly. Yeah, but boooo for having to use headphones with Maschine all the time. As long as you're happy! I use ASIO so this wouldn't apply?

Have Focusrite pro 40 soundcard. Never used to have this problem. If Windows is setup to use the Focusrite as the default audio device make sure CbB and Windows are set to the same sample rate.

I have replied to many similar posts on this subject here and the forum search is another good resource. When posting here providing OS and DAW version info version numbers are more useful than just claiming to run the latest version along with audio interface info sample rate, driver used allows users to give intelligent replies without having to guess. After that, I could use any audio program.

Probably the result of using the ASIO driver in both programs and the driver lacks multi-client support. Most of these programs are audio or video editors.

They work fine using regular Windows drivers. Few web browsers support ASIO and for most uses these too can get away with using Windows audio drivers.
