Now, copy the entire folder. If you saved the folder to your desktop, simply right-click and press 'Copy'. It's time to open Minecraft now! This step can either be done in the game, or from the main menu.

Make sure that your downloaded texture pack remains above the default option. With the new texture pack at the top of the 'Selected' column, press 'Done!
